The Inuit-owned Nukik Corporation leads transformative infrastructure projects in the Nunavut region of Kivalliq, west of Hudson Bay and north of Manitoba. With Canada’s renewed focus on nation-building and large-scale infrastructure, Nukik sought a creative partner to strengthen its brand and digital presence, to effectively communicate its initiatives to stakeholders, partners and the public.

Spruce Creative expressed Nukik’s unique value through a design and content approach that authentically represents their mission and vision, and the communities they serve. Visual elements throughout the site draw inspiration from Arctic landscapes and Inuit culture. The website is structured to provide clear pathways for community members, partners and government stakeholders. A dedicated section details the scope, and impact of Nukik’s Kivalliq Hydro-Fibre Link (KHFL), a groundbreaking initiative connecting the Arctic to Canada’s energy and telecommunications grids.

The redesigned Nukik.ca now serves as a robust platform that not only showcases Nukik’s projects but also reinforces its commitment to community-led development and Arctic sovereignty. Its professional brand elevates stakeholder confidence and positions Nukik as a leader in nation-building and sustainable development in the North.
