Since 1981, the Ontario Cerebral Palsy Sports Association (OCPSA) has excelled in training, coaching and supporting Ontario’s athletes with cerebral palsy. They support athletes of all levels, with any disability, to participate in the world of parasport, specifically in Boccia and Track & Field. To grow their impact, this small provincial sports organization wanted to attract more athletes, coaches and volunteers, and increase donations.
After meeting with OCPSA, we began our work by attending several inspiring events where we saw the athletes in action and spoke with the dedicated families, staff and volunteers who organize these events. This set the tone for a communications strategy, a video campaign and a new website focused on the exciting potential of sport for people living with cerebral palsy. Their enthusiasm and energy were reflected in a vibrant colour palette with fun, engaging design elements.
Our work culminated in the Boundless campaign, which tells powerful athlete stories and celebrates the power of community. Through inspiring social media content and a dedicated “Be Boundless” webpage, the campaign motivated athletes with CP to participate in sports through OCPSA.
